Types of necrosis with examples.

TYPES OF NECROSIS 

1. Coagulative necrosis – eg. Myocardial infarction, renal infarction

2. Liquefactive necrosis – eg. Infarct brain , Abscess

3. Caseous  necrosis – eg. Tuberculosis

4. Fat necrosis – eg. Acute pancreatitis, traumatic fat necrosis of breast

5. Fibrinoid necrosis – eg. Autoimmune disease and in peptic ulcer
